Important notice: Value Coins are non-monetary digital reward units. They are not money, e-money, a security, or a cryptocurrency, and Dastavez never pays cash or cash equivalents for them. See Section 2 below.
1.1  These Value Coins & Rewards Terms (the “Rewards Terms”) govern the Minting, distribution, earning, expiry, and redemption of Value Coins on the Dastavez.net platform. They form part of, and are incorporated into, the Terms of Service of DASTAVEZ.NET (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (“Dastavez”). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. In the event of conflict concerning Value Coins, these Rewards Terms prevail over the Terms of Service.
1.2 Â By Minting, distributing, earning, holding, or redeeming Value Coins, you agree to these Rewards Terms and to the applicable rates, fees, caps, thresholds, and holding periods published in the Pricing Schedule, which is incorporated by reference.
2.1  Value Coins (“VC”) are non-monetary digital reward units used solely to incentivise and recognise participation on the Platform.
2.2 Â Value Coins are NOT:
2.3 Â No claim against Dastavez. Value Coins confer no right to payment of money, or delivery of any asset, by Dastavez. Dastavez never pays cash or cash equivalents to any User in exchange for Value Coins. The only benefit of a Value Coin is the ability to request redemption through a Redemption Partner in accordance with Section 7.
2.4 Â Indicative rates only. Any rate, equivalence, or illustration shown on the Platform (for example, a redemption reference rate published in the Pricing Schedule) is indicative and describes the current fulfilment arrangement with Redemption Partners; it is not a promise of convertibility by Dastavez and may change prospectively under Section 8.
3.1  Prepaid acquisition. Publishers acquire Value Coins for distribution by Minting them through the Platform at the Minting rate published in the Pricing Schedule. Minting is a prepaid purchase of reward-distribution services: the amount corresponding to the Minted Value Coins (the “Backed Value”) is allocated in full to reward fulfilment, and Dastavez’s tier-based Platform Fee (currently between 3% and 5%, per the Pricing Schedule) is charged in addition to, and is never deducted from, the Backed Value.
3.2  Fulfilment allocation. The Backed Value is routed to reward fulfilment through Dastavez’s licensed Redemption Partner arrangements. Dastavez does not itself issue stored value to, or hold redeemable balances for, Respondents; redemption obligations are fulfilled through the Redemption Partner’s regulated services.
3.3  Payment, currency, and fees. Minting payments are subject to Sections 6.2–6.6 of the Terms of Service, including calculation of foreign-currency payments at the exchange rate applied at the time of the transaction and the bearing of payment-processing fees by the Publisher as displayed at checkout.
3.4 Â Limits. Minimum and maximum Minting quantities per transaction and per period are set out in the Pricing Schedule. Dastavez may decline or reverse a Minting transaction where required for fraud prevention, sanctions or legal compliance, or Platform integrity, refunding amounts paid for the declined transaction.
3.5 Â Holding period. Minted Value Coins may be subject to a holding period set out in the Pricing Schedule before they become distributable or redeemable, applied for payment-security and fraud-prevention purposes.
3.6 Â No investment. Minting is a purchase of reward-distribution capacity for genuine Survey activity. Value Coins must not be Minted for speculation, resale, value storage, transmission of value to third parties, or any purpose other than rewarding genuine Platform participation.
4.1 Â New Publisher subscriptions may include a one-time Starter Pack of Value Coins as described in the Pricing Schedule, funded from the subscription fee. The Starter Pack is subject to Section 8 of the Terms of Service (One Starter Pack per User; anti-circumvention; cooling-off; clawback; review), which applies in full and is not repeated here.
4.2 Â Starter Pack Value Coins may carry the activation, vesting, or milestone conditions stated in the Pricing Schedule (for example, an activation delay or a first-Survey-published milestone) before becoming distributable, and may be subject to specific redemption-velocity limits.
5.1 Â Publishers may attach Value Coin rewards to Surveys, including tiered or performance-based structures, subject to any per-response and per-Survey limits in the Pricing Schedule.
5.2  Publishers must accurately describe rewards to Respondents at the point of participation, including the amount (or the rules determining it), any conditions, and any quality standards applied — as further required by the Survey Publisher Terms & Conditions. Rewards must not be described in monetary terms as an obligation of Dastavez.
5.3  Once a Value Coin has been distributed to a Respondent in accordance with the disclosed reward rules, the Publisher may not unilaterally reclaim it, except through Dastavez’s integrity processes in Section 9 where fraud or breach is established.
6.1  Respondents earn Value Coins only for genuine, good-faith participation that meets the disclosed reward conditions. Without limitation, Value Coins are not earned — and may be withheld or reversed — where participation involves:
6.2 Â Dastavez may apply automated and manual quality and integrity checks. Where an automated decision to withhold or reverse Value Coins significantly affects you, you may request human review under Section 8.6 of the Terms of Service, contest the decision, and provide your point of view.
6.3 Â Earned Value Coins may be subject to a short verification holding period, as published in the Pricing Schedule, before becoming redeemable.
7.1  Exclusive channels. Value Coins may be redeemed only through: (a) the third-party Redemption Partner(s) made available in the Platform; or (b) vouchers offered by third-party merchants (“Voucher Vendors”) in the Platform’s voucher shop (the “Shop”). Dastavez itself never redeems Value Coins for cash or cash equivalents, and no voucher available in the Shop may itself be redeemable for cash.
7.2  Eligibility. Redemption requires that you: (a) are at least eighteen (18) years old, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent where permitted by applicable law and by the Redemption Partner; (b) hold an Account in good standing; and (c) satisfy the Redemption Partner’s own onboarding, identity-verification (KYC), and eligibility requirements, which are applied by the Redemption Partner as an independent regulated provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
7.3 Â Thresholds, caps, and holding periods. Redemption is subject to the minimum redemption threshold, the per-day and per-month redemption caps, and the holding periods published in the Pricing Schedule. These limits exist for fraud-prevention, anti-money-laundering, and platform-integrity purposes and may be adjusted prospectively under Section 8.
7.4 Â Partner terms, fees, and availability. Redemption options, values, processing times, and any partner fees are determined by the Redemption Partner and may change or be unavailable in your region. The redemption reference rate in the Pricing Schedule describes the current arrangement and is not guaranteed by Dastavez. Amounts received on redemption may be affected by partner fees, applicable taxes, and regional availability, all as disclosed in the redemption flow before you confirm.
7.5  Failed redemptions. If a redemption fails for reasons attributable to Dastavez’s systems, Dastavez will restore the affected Value Coins or procure fulfilment of equivalent value. If a redemption fails or is delayed for reasons attributable to the Redemption Partner or to your failure to meet partner requirements, your recourse lies with the Redemption Partner, although we will provide reasonable assistance.
7.6 Â Taxes on rewards. Rewards may be taxable in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes arising from rewards you receive. Withholding, where legally required at payout, is applied by the disbursing Redemption Partner in accordance with applicable law.
7.7  Voucher Shop. Where you redeem Value Coins for a voucher in the Shop: (a) the voucher is issued by the Voucher Vendor identified in the listing, and its validity period, usage conditions, and any restrictions are set by that vendor and disclosed at the point of redemption; (b) honouring the voucher and supplying the underlying goods or services are obligations of the Voucher Vendor, not of Dastavez; (c) if a redemption fails due to Dastavez’s systems, Section 7.5 applies and the Value Coins are restored; if a validly redeemed voucher is not honoured, your claim lies against the Voucher Vendor, although Dastavez may, at its discretion, restore the affected Value Coins and recover the corresponding value from the vendor; (d) the redemption thresholds, caps, and holding periods in the Pricing Schedule apply across both redemption channels combined; and (e) Shop availability and individual listings may vary by region and may change or be withdrawn prospectively.
8.1 Â Minting rates, Platform Fee tiers, Starter Pack contents, limits, thresholds, caps, holding periods, and redemption reference rates are published in the Pricing Schedule.
8.2 Â Prospective only. Changes to the Pricing Schedule apply to future transactions only. A change never reduces the Backed Value of Value Coins already Minted, and never retroactively alters the reward rules disclosed for a Survey response already submitted. Material changes will be notified in accordance with Section 18 of the Terms of Service.
9.1  Dastavez may withhold, freeze, void, reverse, or claw back Value Coins — whether Minted, distributed, or earned, and whether or not yet redeemable — where it reasonably determines that they are attributable to: (a) fraud, automation, collusion, or manipulation contrary to Section 6; (b) circumvention of Starter Pack rules; (c) a reversed, disputed, or charged-back payment (Section 6.6 of the Terms of Service); (d) a material breach of the Terms of Service or these Rewards Terms; or (e) legal, sanctions, or regulatory requirements.
9.2  Measures under Section 9.1 will be proportionate to the circumstances, and — except where prohibited by law or where immediate action is necessary — accompanied by a statement of reasons and access to the review procedure in Section 8.6 of the Terms of Service.
9.3 Â Value Coins voided or forfeited under this Section carry no right to compensation, refund, or replacement, save where the review procedure determines the measure was applied in error, in which case the Value Coins will be restored.
10.1  Inactivity expiry. Value Coins held in an Account expire and are forfeited without compensation after twelve (12) consecutive months of Account inactivity. “Inactivity” means no sign-in and no qualifying Platform activity. We will send at least one reminder to your registered email before inactivity expiry takes effect.
10.2  Undistributed Publisher Value Coins remain available for distribution while the Publisher’s subscription is active and for sixty (60) days after cancellation or expiry of the subscription, after which they expire. Refunds in respect of Minted but undistributed Value Coins within that 60-day window are governed exclusively by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10.3  No refund of expired Value Coins. Expired Value Coins — whether distributed or undistributed, and including Starter Pack Value Coins — carry no right to any refund, credit, or compensation, for Publishers or Respondents, except as expressly provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy or required by mandatory applicable law.
11.1 Â If you close your Account voluntarily, you should redeem eligible Value Coins beforehand; unredeemed Value Coins expire on closure, subject to a thirty (30) day grace period for Respondents to complete an eligible redemption where the balance meets the minimum threshold.
11.2 Â If your Account is terminated for fraud, material breach, or unlawful use, Value Coins are forfeited in accordance with Section 9. If your Account is terminated by Dastavez for convenience or discontinuation of the Services, we will provide a reasonable wind-down period for eligible redemption or, where that is not possible, treat affected Users fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
12.1  Dastavez’s sole obligation, and your sole and exclusive remedy, in respect of Value Coins lost, mis-credited, voided, or unfulfilled due to a Platform error attributable to Dastavez is the restoration of the affected Value Coins or fulfilment of equivalent value, as reasonably determined by Dastavez. Sections 13, 14, and 16 of the Terms of Service (Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability; Consumer Rights) apply to these Rewards Terms, and nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
13.1 Â These Rewards Terms are governed by, and disputes resolved in accordance with, Sections 16 and 19 of the Terms of Service.
